Distribution transformers stand as one of the cornerstones of CIC’s decades-long expertise in research and production. Since 1983, upon completing a comprehensive range of MV and LV instrument transformers, CIC has also dedicated itself to designing and providing electrical transformers tailored for distribution systems.

CIC offers a diverse range of medium-voltage and low-voltage distribution transformers for single-phase and three-phase applications, including oil-immersed, cast resin, and dry-type versions. The low voltage dry-type distribution transformers utilize Nomex-material Class-H-insulation coils or non-ventilated resin-encapsulated Class-H insulation. Notably, CIC pioneered the ET series in 1992 as Taiwan's first resin-encapsulated non-ventilated transformers. Equipped with optional protection devices and alarm functions, the ET series has become the preferred low-voltage distribution transformer in high-rise buildings, offices, and landmarks like the Taipei 101 skyscraper due to their safety and performance.

With a durable IP20 enclosure, these transformers come in Regular Type and "Silent" Type, for the lowest sound levels. Optional accessories include protective devices for overload and over-temperature protection. SPD for protection against lightning is also available.
