CIC’s Vice GM of Trading Development Division Receives Prestigious "100 MVP Managers 2023" Honor

Crystal Yang, Vice General Manager of the Trading Development Division at Challenge Industrial Co., Ltd. (CIC), was recently honored as one of the "100 MVP Managers" of 2023 in the 16th edition of this annual recognition.
Organized by "Manager Today" magazine, the “100 MVP Managers” event aims to acknowledge exceptional managers who contribute significantly to both their companies and society. The grand gathering and award ceremony for the 100 MVP Managers were held on November 24th this year at Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel in Taipei.
As a distinguished representative of Challenge Industrial Co., Crystal is also an alumna of the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program at National Taipei University of Technology, graduating from the "2021 EMBA Class." This year's theme for the "100 MVP Managers" was "Building Business Resilience," and Crystal stood out in the "Organizational Governance" category, being among the 21 recipients in this group.
It's worth noting that Mr. Mike Huang, Chairman of CIC, is also an outstanding alumnus of National Taipei University of Technology, graduating from the Electrical Engineering program at the former National Taipei Institute of Technology. With nearly 50 years of dedicated leadership and foresight, Chairman Huang has steered CIC towards continuous innovation and R&D, solidifying its pivotal position in Taiwan's electrical industry.
Joining CIC in 2007 as the Chairman's secretary, Crystal has since held roles in shipping, overseas business units, and the export department, playing a pivotal role in market development and marketing endeavors. With close to 20 years of service in the company, her excellent interpersonal skills and passion for business have significantly aided CIC in expanding its presence in overseas markets and establishing its brand identity.
Recalling the initial challenges faced while spearheading CIC's overseas market expansion, Crystal emphasized the resilience developed through those hardships. With unwavering support from CIC, she actively represented the company at international exhibitions, consistently developed new client bases, and contributed to driving new product developments. Crystal's commitment to CIC's "customer-first" philosophy, along with a dedication to meeting user needs and providing comprehensive after-sales service, has earned the trust of international giants such as GE, Hitachi, Siemens, Alstom, Schneider Electric, ABB, Andritz, among others, showcasing CIC's robust presence in international markets.
Being selected among the 100 MVP Managers, Crystal seizes this opportunity to encourage all managers to continue challenging themselves, enhancing their abilities, and thereby creating more value for businesses and society. She also acknowledges CIC's long-term support and trust, stating that this award not only honors her personally but also signifies the company's commitment to excellence and continuous progress, affirming the outstanding qualities of Taiwan's manufacturing industry.
