Medium-Voltage Series Reactors (Detuned Reactors)

MV Dry-Type Series Reactors (detuned reactors) with ratings ranging from 3.6 kV to 24 kV have coils that are insulated with Class-H materials and then coated with epoxy resin. The three phases are insulated against each other by the air within the space between them. These electrical reactors are noted for their moisture resistance, excellent heat dissipation, low noise, easy maintenance, and product longevity.


About the Product

These medium-voltage, 3.6 – 24 kV dry-type detuned reactors have coils that are insulated with Class-H materials. The iron cores are divided into sections to ensure linear inductance. Between the three phases with the epoxy-resin-coated coils, the insulation is achieved by the air within the space between each phase. This type of series reactor is characterized by its moisture resistance, excellent heat dissipation, low noise, low maintenance, and great durability.
