Dry-Type Bushing Current Transformers for GIS or Power Transformers
TB-1M Series
Suited to power transmission and distribution systems and intended to work with measuring or monitoring instruments, or with protective relays, these bushing CTs (BCTs) can also be used with GIS or in conjunction with power transformers bushings. Insulation tape or epoxy resin as insulation material.
About the Product
Dry-Type Bushing Current Transformers TB-1M Series, suited to power transmission and distribution systems, are intended to work with measuring or monitoring instruments, or with protective relays. These current transformers can also be used in gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) – the CT is placed in either SF6 gas or in air. Alternatively, these current transformers can be used in conjunction with power transformer bushings; in this case, the CT is immersed in insulation oil. CT sizes can be specially requested, and the customer can choose between insulation tape or epoxy resin for the insulation material. The secondary side can be equipped with either lead wires or secondary terminals.
