Single-Pole Voltage Transformers (Potential Transformers), or Three-Phase VT (PT) + GVT (GPT)

Voltage transformers from this series are indoor medium-voltage single-phase epoxy-resin-cast potential transformers suitable for 12kV, 24kV, and 36kV power systems. They are used in conjunction with measuring instruments for system monitoring and analysis or in combination with protective relays. Specific models can be equipped with a combination fuse assembly on the primary side. Additionally, models with a maximum thermal burden of 1000 VA can also function as a power source for circuit breaker operation, meaning they can serve as "control power transformers" or "control transformers," also known as CPT or CTR, or "industrial control transformers" or "machine tool transformers."

About the Product
Cast in Araldite® epoxy resin and designed for 12/24/36 kV power systems, these single-pole voltage transformers, or potential transformers, are self-extinguishing and are characterized by their superior insulation and excellent moisture resistance. These VTs (PTs) can be used with measuring or monitoring instruments for power system analysis and monitoring; alternatively, they can be paired with protective relays to maintain system safety during power supply.
For models EPF-20SL and EPF-30DE, optional accessories are offered, which include an elbow-type connector (for the primary side) and a tubular epoxy housing, which contains a built-in primary fuse. The tubular epoxy housing may be attached to the VT (PT) through the elbow-type connector. This option helps to enhance safety of operation, allow easier repair, and reduce the size of the switchgear panel.
Model EPF-20SL provides a rated thermal burden of 1000VA (maximum) and can be used as a power source for circuit breaker operation.

Three-Phase Grounding Voltage Transformer (GVT), or Grounding Potential Transformer (GPT), for MV Indoor Applications
EGP-3DF, EGP-6DF
This ground voltage transformer (GVT), or ground potential transformer (GPT), is a three-phase medium-voltage (MV) potential transformer for indoor applications. With a fuse for each phase, this PT (VT) features epoxy-insulated coils and a five-legged (five-limbed) laminated core. This voltage transformer is used with measuring or monitoring instruments, or for ground-fault protection.
36 kV Metal-Clad Voltage Transformer (Potential Transformer) for Indoor Application
EPF-30SE
Intended for the switchgear panels of a 36 kV power system, this single-pole epoxy-cast voltage transformer (potential transformer) for indoor application is covered with an aluminum box. The grounded aluminum box for shielding reduces the installation space requirement.
